FAMILY BUSINESS HISTORY

Scientific Commodities Incorporated (SCI) is a 3rd generation family-owned business going back 28 years ago to 1983. However, the origins of the business occurred 30 years ago in 1981 when Shirley Molitor began working at Bolab, Inc. Two years later, Shirley and Robert Molitor bought Bolab, Inc.  Eight years later, the company name became SCI in order to encompass the growing spectrum of products and clients.

Robert and Shirley are still around, and their sons and grandson now work in the company.  Consequently, SCI has over 100 years of combined experience providing reliable service. SCI has the right balance of ownership, size and experience to meet or exceed your expectations.
