The
Polystyrene cuvettes are designed for assays throughout the 340nm to
750nm visible spectral range. The Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA)
have a 285nm to 750nm range. A standard 1cm light path and
recessed windows provide light transmission. You can scale down
your assay volumes to save on costly reagents. They only require a
1.2ml fill volume on the 1.5ml size. The light path is 10mm on
both cuvettes. They are packaged in two covered trays that hold 100 cuvettes
each.
These 4.5ml
cuvettes are specially designed for Fluorometry. They are an
excellent choice for Nephelometry and Spectrophotometry. There is
a negligible variation in absorbance between the four optically clear
sides so reading can be taken from any side. The Polystyrene
cuvettes are accurate in the 340nm to 750nm visual spectral range.
The Methacrylate UV-VIS cuvettes are accurate in the 285nm to 750nm VIS-UV
spectral range. Standard 1cm light path. They are packaged in
two covered trays of 100. They are not sorted by nest numbers.
A superior
grade of Methacrylate provides an excellent degree of light transmission
throughout the spectral range from 285nm to 750nm. They are ideal
for scanning, enzyme rate reactions (with small delta absorbances), and
standard curve determinations. The 4.5 ml macro cuvette has a
minimum filling volume of 2.5 ml. They come in two packages of 100
cuvettes each.
Low density Polyethylene cuvette caps fit
most standard cuvettes. The flexible fins on the cap allow for a
tight fit that will seal but not crack the cuvettes.
This low density Polyethylene cuvette
holder holds 12 standard cuvettes. They permit easy viewing and
help prevent breakage. They can be fitted into the base
horizontally for storage purposes.
Made of clear Acrylic
with a straight handle. This tool is used to add enzymes or other
materials to solutions in cuvettes (Spectrophotometer Cells). Up
and down motion in cell provides complete mixing.
